# Segment syncing to CRM?

Hello all,
New to Mautic dev, potentially a very basic question here:
We are looking at developing an integration to our CRM and Mautic and wondered if Segment bi-lateral syncing is possible or has been done before.
Our CRM has ‘groups’ functionality. When a user becomes a customer they are moved into a specific group in the CRM, and it would be good to keep this synced up to Mautic via Segments to build real-time accurate workflows.

sure, you can use an existing integration (like with Salesforce) as an example, but add more features to it - e.g. a filter that can be defined in the plugin configuration.
