# Segments: "# Contacts" Not Updating?

Hi,  
  
  
  
I deleted a contact from the “ **Contacts** ”, and then I ran the “ **mautic:segments:update** ” cron job but when I go under the “ **Segments** ” page I still see the number count under the “ **# Contacts** ” column is still showing the wrong number of contacts.  
  
  
  
Shouldn’t the “ **# Contacts** ” value get updated?

I see the issue now and it relates to my other post below.

The reason it still shows the user is because the phantom “IP address” user that still remains in the “Campaigns \> Contacts” tab page still belongs to the segment and then shows the wrong # of contacts in the “Segments” page .
