# Select All Results on contacts list search result

My idea is:  
Select All Results on contacts list: I think an ability to select the entire result set of a contact search then taking actions on them like it already allows to do. For a result set of 5000 contacts theres no quick and easy way to apply the actions you can apply to a single page of contact results.

I think these groups of people would benefit from this idea:  
Anyone that wants to add contacts to segments and other actions based on a contact search result.  
Because creating segments and campaigns to perform actions on large sets of contacts is a pain now.

Why I think they would benefit from this idea:  
Because they don’t have to click on 20+ pages of results to apply those actions.

Maybe but I’m new to symfony.

What skills and resources do you need to explore this further?  
I guess we need to know if Mautic can handle an action on 500+ contacts in one go or if it will give a memory or timeout issue? Maybe it should be done via cron after the admin takes the action?
