My idea is:

Sending out mails in WAVES or in large quantities at once immediately but especially having the power to choose as a mautic user which one.
Now you’re dependant on the cron for the batches. Business users want the control.

I think these groups of people would benefit from this idea:|

- Mautic users that have high volumes
- Adobe Campaign users that want to migrate to Mautic.

Why I think they would benefit from this idea:

- Lift and Shift style migration (functionality also exists in Mautic)
- End user (marketer) has control which mechanism is used to send the emails.

Any code or resources to support this idea:

- We already have something similar in campaigns:

- I’m proposing something like this in the segment email:

This is obviously up for discussion!

Are you willing to work on this idea?: Yes possibly!

What skills and resources do you need to explore this further?
Feedback!

I would propose the following settings on an Email:

- Default (current way of workig - immediate queueing)
- Waves
  - absolute numbers (by the 100)
  - percentage (waves of 20%)
