# Sending Segment Emails

_My PHP version is_ :8.0  
_My MySQL/MariaDB version is_ (delete as applicable): MySQL/MariaDB version: 10.6.19 MariaDB

**Your problem**  
_My problem is_ :  
I’m trying to figure out if enabled segment emails are supposed to send on their own or not? Do I have to hit “send”?

_Steps I have tried to fix the problem_ :  
Waited 24 hours, and nothing sent. Hit “send” and the queue screen got caught up at 4600 sent. After 2 hours and a progression to 5000, I’ve disabled the campaign and am seeking support. I can’t sit here and wait on this window to send all the emails all day… What am I missing?
