# Setting Cron Jobs with cron-job.org

Hi,
I’m new to Mautic and just installed it. I uploaded the script, installed it, setup Amazon SES… and the last thing I have to setup is the Cron Job.
Since I’m on shared hosting, I’m going to use an external cron job service to run the cron jobs. Does anyone have a step-by-step walkthough on how to do this. I spent about an hour searching through older posts with bits and pieces of information… but I don’t have the complete picture. I went on YouTube to see if anyone has setup a video on it… but there isn’t anything there for external cron jobs either.

Okay, I figured it out. I used the PHP file that someone had updated for version 2.0 and connected everything with [Cron-Job.org](http://Cron-Job.org). I had to change https to http in the crons before it worked properly… but it’s working now.

Hi Jim,
I just signed up for [cron-jog.org](http://cron-jog.org)…can give any guidance on how you set up the cron jobs on that site and any server configs you performed to get the cron jobs set up…thanks a ton.
