# Support for URL Shortener

My idea is: Mautic already have the ability to shorten URL but for non developer, they night not know how to go about the technicalities. I’m suggesting having a predefined list juts like we have for email setting where a provider can be selected and configuration information is inputted and saved. An example that could be preconfigured is [https://YOURLS.org](https://YOURLS.org)

I think these groups of people would benefit from this idea: Everyone that uses Mautic will benefit from this.

Why I think they would benefit from this idea: It will help Mautic users to have their own short URL that will be helpful for SMS messages.

Any code or resources to support this idea: I can support with testing. I’m a Marketer.

Are you willing to work on this idea?: I can assist with testing and strategy.
