# Syntax for URL Shortener field in Configuration

Hi:

Sorry for this probably dumb question but I’m a newbie:

For the URL Shortener field in configuration, the tool tip cuts off the example, at least in my browser.

Is the correct syntax to include the = char. after longUrl like [https://api-ssl.bitly.com/v3/shorten?access\_token={myaccesstoken}&format=txt&longUrl=](https://api-ssl.bitly.com/v3/shorten?access_token=%7Bmyaccesstoken%7D&format=txt&longUrl=)

I’ve entered it with and without the = char. but it doesn’t seem to be working. My Campaign Tweets are going out without bit.ly shorteners.
