# Timezone issue while viewing events for a contact

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: 2.16.0  
My PHP version is: 7.3.14

**Your problem**  
My problem is:

I set my timezone and then sent out a one off email to a contact and in the details I see this: (NOTE: the email shows it was read at 9:23 am which is my local time, but the email opened history still shows 3:23 PM which is the UTC… seems the “email opened history” is not adjusting for timezone)

Email **was first read on February 20, 2020 9:23 am CST**. That was after the email was sent February 20, 2020 9:22 am CST.
