# Track referral source with # attribute in link

I want to have a landing page that tracks referrals. Assume the page is:
[http://site.com/test-page](http://site.com/test-page)
Now let’s say I have a list of existing contacts, and I’ve added a custom field that assigns them each a unique ID number. I want them to be able to send people to the landing page using their unique number, so the lead is assigned to them. So if Jimmy’s number was 12345, his link would be:
[http://site.com/test-page#12345](http://site.com/test-page#12345)
Is something like this possible? Thanks!
