# Tracking Object being flagged as Malware?

Wondering if anybody has seen this? Avast is showing the tracking object I’ve got inserted from my Mautic instance as possible malware.

Specifically, it’s the mtc.js file that’s flagging the error.

Yeah, I commented out the original false positive only to get hit w/false positives on the tracking pixel as well. We’ve reported it as a false positive to Avast but I hear other scanners are picking it up too. I’m hesitant to leave the tracking on the site, because we’re a very new business and I don’t want people thinking we’re up to something malicious.
