Hi, First I would like to thank you for your wonderful effort I have tired to make tracking pixel to work on my self hosted server V1.3.1, but each time I have a different experience. Let me explain 1- I installed the software on a Linux server (Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS with LAMP stack) installation went fine but tracking pixel did not work at all. 2- I installed the software in a windows server with wamp stack installation went fine, tracking pixel works, but it did not show the IP, it only says anonymous ![Mautic_Anonymous.png](http://goodnewsapps.com/ak/Mautic_Anonymous.png) 3- I created a free account @ [mautic.com](http://mautic.com) everything went fine, tracking pixel works fine as well. ![mautic_ip.png](http://goodnewsapps.com/ak/mautic_ip.png) But I want it to work in my own server. Hello (I’m new to forum, first post, please be gentle with me). Not for me it doesn’t - what am I doing wrong - have I misunderstood how it works ??? What is the URL I should use - my Mautic hosted account is at [ex-l-ence.mautic.com](http://ex-l-ence.mautic.com) so should the url for the pixel be: [http://ex-l-ence.mautic.com/mtracking.gif](http://ex-l-ence.mautic.com/mtracking.gif) or something else entirely ??? Then, am I right in putting the line: "\” on my website’s ([www.ex-l-ence.com](http://www.ex-l-ence.com)) home page ??? Boy, I am a complete newbie at this !!! Thanks for any help !!! ---

Ummmmm think I have figured it out - it didn’t show a visit to the site from the same browser that I was looking at the dashboard from… ---
