Hi there,
There is a [known issue](https://github.com/mautic/mautic/issues/6617#issuecomment-560334720) when you are not using the database encoding `utf8mb4` and the collation type of `utf8mb4_unicode_ci`- can you confirm what you’re currently using with your database?

Hmmm… issues still persisting after changing collation and encoding as recommended. Running /bin/console mautic:social:monitoring

SOLVED:
This post explained how to change the tables. Using phpmyadmin didn’t work. Needed to run the mysql commands listed in this link.

Running the following SQL against the Mautic database fixes the emoji issue with the Twitter plugin:
ALTER TABLE `leads`
CONVERT TO CHARACTER SET utf8mb4
COLLATE utf8mb4\_unicode\_ci;
ALTER TABLE `leads`
CHANGE social\_cache social\_cache LONGTEXT
CHARACTER SET utf8mb4;
You may have to change the table name as per your setup. For example, some setups have pre-pended the table name with the user, so for example, the table listed above in the sql command as “leads” could in fact be, on your install, “name-of-user\_leads”.
