# Unable to save an email when using our own custom theme

Hi there,  
  
I have set up a new theme but every time we try to make changes to an email and save / Close Builder we just get stuck on the rotating progress ball forever. I have looked for logs but can’t find any logs at all for today. I have attached what the theme looks like and where it stops. Any ideas?

Hi, there must be some error message. Check:

1. Mautic error log.
2. Server error log.
3. Browser’s dev tools console (press F12) to see javascript errors.
