# Unsubscribe page not working

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: 5.1.0  
My PHP version is: 8.1  
My Database type and version is: Mysql

**Your problem**  
My problem is: that when a contact clicks the unsubscribe link, it opens the form but when the unclick on I want to receive email and click save it does not update the contact record.

These errors are showing in the log: No error

Steps I have tried to fix the problem: No workaround

Hi, did you change anything in settings \> emails?  
Also: does the link "resubscribe’ lead you anywhere?

Hello

I have not changed anything. The link opens to the unsubscribe form but does not update the contact when they click save

So when you click on resubscribe - the unsubscribe screen comes back, right?

There is no resubscribe link. On the email it just says unsubscribe

Okay, so it doesn’t work in your email. Can you paste an example link here?
