# Updating leads using check-box/radio buttons in Forms

@escopecz We are wondering whether we are setting this up correctly or whether we have uncovered a bug. We have a field called ‘has kids’ in which there are two values ‘yes’ and ‘no’. We then create a form in which there is a Select input of ‘have kids’ and the two values are ‘yes’ and ‘no’. We have found with both radio buttons and check-boxes that value are not being written to the DB. When we look at the form HTML it looks like both values for the check boxes are added as ‘yes’ and when we edit the HTML that corrects the problem. We can’t find out what is going on with radio buttons.

What version of Mautic do you use? I know this was a known issue a while back, but it should be fixed in 1.2.2.
