# Updating Mautic 4.4.13

I’m still using version 4.4.13. What’s the best way to update to the latest stable version?  
Can I update directly via the command line, or do I need to downgrade to previous versions?

My Mautic version is: 4.4.13  
My PHP version is: 7.4.33  
My Database type and version is: MySQL 8.0
