# Upgrade from v3 to v4 using docker?

**Your software** v3.1.2  
_My PHP version is_ : 7.201  
_My MySQL/MariaDB version is_ (delete as applicable): mysqlnd 5.0.12-dev

**Updating/Installing Errors**  
_I am_ (delete as applicable): Installing / Updating  
_Upgrading/installing via_ (delete as applicable) : Web / Command Line  
_These errors are showing in the installer_ :

_These errors are showing in the Mautic log_ :

**Your problem**  
_My problem is_ : Is there a guideline for upgrading from v3 to v4 using the public Docker images [Docker Hub](https://hub.docker.com/r/mautic/mautic)? And also between minor releases?

_Steps I have tried to fix the problem_ :

Hello @klandry1,

I suggest to go directly to the Docker Hub support.  
The update depends on how your Docker has been configured. 🙂
