# Upgrade log location

I’m upgrading from version 3.3.4 to version 4.1

After issuing the command php bin/console mautic:update:apply --finish, I get an error that says,  
“An error occurred while updating the database. Check log for more details.”

Where can I find the correct log file?

You can search on /var/www/YourWebsiteFolder/htdocs/var/logs
