# Upgrade to 4.4 fails with permission error

The Mautic update could not complete successfully because of the following error: Could not extract the contents of the ZIP archive to the filesystem.

Hi,

You seem to update via SSH, correct?

Does the .zip file (the update) have **permissions** for your user so you can extract it? 🤔

Yes, ssh. Many thanks for helping out. It seems I’ve reached my host’s quota (file-number wise). Will check and get back here!

I had the max number of files quota reached on my hosting provider!
