# Upgrading 1.31 to 2.4 - Problems?!

Hi!
How can we ugrade version 1.31 to version 2.4, without losing any data? …If we replace files it will update it fully and clear db. But we have a good running Mautic installation, and normally I wouldn´t upgrade, but there is another problem: When duplicating forms in a continous workflow, after a while it crashes existings forms, switches ids and show bad results on Wordpress frontend. More the results to the former form are now given to a comlete other form list…
For another client we run Mautic 2.4 and there all works perfect with duplicating forms without crashing existing ones…
