# Viewing Individual Contacts Produces Error 500

I am running the latest version (2.7.1) on a couple of the installs that we manage. Individual contact profiles started producing Error 500 pages rather than loading. There is no additional information in the Mautic error logs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you try to disable custom fields ?
As you’re running multiple instances of mautic, is the problem the same on different mautic instances ?
Did you try on a fresh install (or an instance upgraded without any configuration like integration/custom fields/language/…)
For example in my 271 instance, the builder was KO if swithing to French
I had to delete the cache folder manually
and finally my sys admin advise me to switch to default symphony’s variable for path and cache as it seems there was a problem using absolute FS path on my unix system
