# Viewpixel is not working 404

**Your software**  
My Mautic version is: 4.4.2  
My PHP version is: 7.4  
My Database type and version is: mySQL 8

**Your problem**

The focus windows work, however I get a 404 error with viewpixel.gif

My server is UBUNTU with NGINX

The only error I get in the log, is a 404 error

The viewpixel.gif is a gif, i think this file is the one who keeps track of open emails or viewed focus…

This is the error trace:

My focus windows are displayed but do not record any statistics.

Hello,

The emails are tracked by the tracking pixel attached to the emails. If you open your email’s source you might find something like this:

```auto
<img height="1" width="1" src=
"https://mautic.mywebsite.com/email/632dc6c71bc8e110411075.gif" alt="" />

```

If you load this image in your web browser, (In this case using this web address: `https://mautic.mywebsite.com/email/632dc6c71bc8e110411075.gif`) a 1x1 pixel size tracking image should appear. Unless you have pixel sharp vision, you won’t see it, but if you don’t get an error, then it’s there, so all working good.

No, specifically I mean that when I insert a focus windows in any page, I receive the error 404 regarding the resource https://my\_mautic.com/focus/2/viewpixel.gif.

I checked another previous installation of mautic and I can access the indicated resource.

In my server logs I do not find any related error.

The email tracking pixel is working perfectly. Only happens with focus windows

Could be a server setting. It works for me.
