# What does time in 'Last active' column mean?

What does the ‘Last active’ column in the contacts list actually mean? I see Last Active was a few minutes ago for a certain contact. When I look at the contacts event history for this contact, the last event was days or even weeks ago.  
  
  
  
So what does it mean that this contact was active a few minutes ago?
