# Whatsapp Plugin for Mautic (License required)

We’ve been working on a WhatsApp plugin for Mautic that removes the need to jump between Mautic and external dashboards (like Twilio,Msg91,Wati etc) for day-to-day WhatsApp operations.
**What it does:**
- Create WhatsApp message templates directly inside Mautic
- Support for text, media, and CTA/button templates
- Submit templates for WhatsApp approval from Mautic itself
- Send approved templates via campaigns / messages
- Track delivery stats, status, and execution logs
- No manual Content SID juggling — handled internally
**Why this exists:**
Managing WhatsApp templates outside Mautic breaks workflow. This plugin keeps everything:
- Versioned
- Auditable
- Campaign-friendly
- Usable by non-technical users once configured
**Under the hood:**
- Uses WhatsApp provider APIs (e.g. Twilio Content API, Msg91, Wati etc)
- Dynamic template type detection (text / media / CTA)
- Clean separation between transport logic and UI
- Designed to be extensible (future providers possible)
**Who this is for:**
- Teams running WhatsApp campaigns heavily on Mautic
- Developers tired of syncing templates manually
- Anyone who wants WhatsApp to feel like a first-class citizen in Mautic
Still polishing a few edges, but it’s already usable in real projects.

Hello @ravi_2002,
We encourage everyone to share their free or paid plugins with the community. However, it would be helpful to include some videos or demonstrations showing the plugin in action.
I also noticed that the post gives the impression that the plugin is open-source, while in reality it appears to be a commercial plugin. It would be good to clarify this to avoid any confusion for the community.
I had a look at the documentation and it seems solid, but there are a few aspects that feel a bit unusual. In particular, the **reviews** appear to have all been posted on the same date and the comments have a very similar length across the different plugins.
I am not suggesting it is a scam or anything like that, but it does come across as a bit unusual.

Hi All,
Been a while since my last post but i have been working with this plugin and I have to say that it is amazing! What a difference and what a great way to work with whatsapp. These guys are responsive and developing new features all the time. I am running it on 4.4.x and working like a dream
