# Why do you need a user browser authentication for RESTapi?

The more important question is, since I’m working on an implemention of mautic on the back-end level, how can I authenticate entirely on the back end without a use of a browser? We make new publications on our website and want to trigger mautic to automatically prepare emails for us.
