# Wordpress users & Mautic contacts

The wordpress login is working fine on my wordpress website. I now wonder how I can fix it so my wordpress users would be identified in Mautic. Now they are anonymous. If I upload my WP-users in Mautic will those contacts be linked to the IP-adresses if they visit the site again?

Only if you manage to link their anonymous profiles lead profiles created by visiting your site with their imported profiles. This could happen through e.g. a link to a landingpage they visit in a mail you send them or if they fill a form…
