Hi folks, super excited to share that today Acquia is unveiling its Open Digital Experience Platform (DXP) which is based in part on Mautic! You can read more about it here: https://www.acquia.com/about-us/newsroom/press-releases/acquia-launches-new-open-digital-experience-platform and on TechCrunch: https://techcrunch.com/2020/07/14/new-acquia-platform-looks-to-bring-together-developers-marketers-and-data.
You will notice that within the DXP, Mautic is now known as ‘Acquia Campaign Studio’ and Maestro as ‘Acquia Campaign Factory’. These name changes are meant to bring consistency across all of the products within Acquia’s DXP, and make it clearer what each part does. It is very much still based on the Mautic Open Source project and there are no plans to change that. Acquia will continue to contribute to the project as usual.
I think that this will be great for the Mautic community, as it will lessen the confusion between the Acquia-hosted SaaS platform and the Open Source project, and give us much more opportunity to optimise and gain traction as a project.
