Campaign Library - Phase 2 - End of Sprint 1 Retrospective

Status: :large_green_circle: On target
Hello everyone :waving_hand:

The Campaign Library Phase 2 project has kicked off, and we’re excited to begin work on this next stage of the initiative. Campaigns are a core part of Mautic and having a shared library of ready-to-use campaign templates helps users get started faster and apply proven structures without starting from scratch.

Phase 2 focuses on improving access to downloadable campaign templates through the Campaign Library, enabling users to browse, discover, and reuse existing campaigns more easily. This directly improves the user experience by reducing setup effort and shortening the time it takes for users to see the value from Mautic.

We’re happy to share that Sprint 1 has been successfully completed :tada:

Sprint 1 – Summary

Sprint 1 was intentionally focused on setting a strong foundation before moving into feature delivery. With a small team, the priority was to ensure clarity, alignment, and readiness for upcoming sprints.

At a high level, the work completed includes:

  • Validating Phase 2 goals and scope

  • Reviewing Phase 1 outcomes and reusable components

  • Aligning on the campaign lifecycle and user flow

  • Creating a prioritised backlog for upcoming sprints

  • Starting early groundwork related to the Campaign Library and marketplace basics

Current state

  • Scope and direction are clearly defined

  • The project is structured for incremental delivery

  • The team is ready to move into focused execution

What’s next

Sprint 2 will move forward with core Phase 2 functionality based on the prioritised backlog. Updates will be shared at the end of each sprint, and once a usable piece is available, we are planning to organize a demo to walk through progress and gather feedback.

Thanks to everyone supporting the project - More updates coming soon.

For those that are new to the Campaign Library concept, we have published quite a lot about the project in the following spaces: Project name: Campaign Library Phase 1
