The next Mautic Community Sprint is happening in Berlin on June 17-18, 2026, and this is your invitation to be part of it.

For two focused days, the Mautic community will come together in person to collaborate, solve problems, move important work forward, and help shape what comes next. If you care about open source marketing technology, better product experiences, data privacy, data sovereignty, and growing Mautic’s reach, this sprint is for you.

What will we be doing?

This sprint is both a working session and a momentum session: improving the product, improving the story, and improving how we bring Mautic to a wider audience.

Mautic, the software: As always, we will be doing the hands-on work that helps Mautic improve in real and practical ways. That includes reviewing priorities and improving workflows, tackling issues, supporting ongoing initiatives, discussing new ideas, and making progress on the product itself.

Especially testing fixes and new features is a big part of the effort.

Mautic, the project: We also want to focus on how Mautic is presented to the world, and how we can help more people discover and understand it.

Mautic has a strong story to tell as a data privacy-friendly and data sovereignty-friendly marketing automation and newsletter solution. More organizations are actively looking for alternatives that give them more control over their tools, their infrastructure, and their data.

We want to use this sprint to develop better ways of communicating that value, sharpening the message, and getting Mautic in front of the people who need exactly this kind of solution.

Who should join?

We would love to see contributors from across the community join us in Berlin, including:

  • Experienced Mautic users who can bring practical product feedback and real-world perspective
  • Developers who want to help implement improvements and solve problems
  • Marketers, designers, writers, testers, and community contributors who want to strengthen how Mautic is positioned and communicated
  • New contributors who want to get involved, meet the community, and contribute in a practical setting
  • Juniors / all people new to Mautic are welcome

If you have never attended a Mautic event before, and it is geographically feasible for you to attend: This is a great place to get in touch with real people!

  • End: Thursday, June 18, 2026, 8:00 PM CEST (most people will stay for the night and travel back home on the 19th)

Registration is required for everyone attending in person. Even if you choose the free participation option, we still need you to sign up (in advance), so that we can register all participants with the location before the event.

Participation is free. If you would like to support the sprint, you can also choose the optional donation when registering to help cover event costs.

Community sprints are where ideas turn into action. They are where contributors meet, collaborate, and create real momentum together.

This Berlin sprint is our chance to make Mautic better, make its value clearer, and help more people discover an open source marketing automation platform built for a world that cares about privacy, sovereignty, and control.

We are looking forward to two productive and energizing days with the Mautic community in Berlin. We hope to see you there!

Only one week to go until we meet in Berlin (and online :slight_smile:
We already have 18 people who signed up to come in person :tada: plus many for joining remotely.

What to expect in detail:
• We will have one group actually working on the product for most of the time (testing, coding, merging, discussing code, …)
• AND we are planning to have topic-related sessions, a bit like a bar camp, so everybody can bring and pitch their ideas - and we’ll split up into multiple groups and multiple time slots.
So you will have the chance to be part of different things with different people, also switch groups at any time, just as it works best for you!
Session topics can be anything, across all teams (product/marketing/education/community), from “Implement a certain fundraising idea” to “Discuss Mautic 8”, from “finally make a German-language landing page reality” to “Concepts for tackling the (AI-related) flood of PRs”, … Just examples, really.

For those attending remotely:

  • Even a few hours are welcome
  • Most importantly: Please do not forget to sign up (free, of course)
  • We’ll have a task board in Github, and coordinate mostly async
  • The exact hour of our brief kickoff on Wednesday is not yet clear, but we’ll make it a video call and give you the details through all channels
  • Additional live interaction will be coordinated within the groups
