Allow the use of system constants. it could be used anywhere, in emails, landing pages, etc…
It is a string, like a Product Name, A Brand name, even a link. You would set or modify it in the constant definition, and the change would be applied immediately everywhere the constant is called.

An asset tends to point to a resource, while a constant would just be a string value.
