Campaign Library - proof of concept done

First post! Hello all

I wanted to let people know about an important early milestone we have just delivered on the Campaign Library initiative. As I highlighted in last week’s first weekly update, we have now (more or less!) completed a command line based proof of concept (“POC”) of both the export and import processes for one campaign.
The rationale behind doing a POC was pretty simple. We’re aware that Mautic installations and usage out there can vary quite a bit and any import is going to need to include all the dependent data that a campaign may require. This means we are likely to encounter a lot of complexity that it’s hard to predict and plan for from the outset. Therefore we are taking an iterative approach, building this proof of concept so that further complexity can be added incrementally, with more dependencies and validation logic to be included as we go. Combined with feedback from the community we think this is the best approach to mitigating the risk that we miss requirements and therefore we end up with a more robust solution. It also means we can be sure of delivery even way before the required end date meaning that we are ready for the major release of Mautic 7.0 well in advance. We now have the POC ready and would like feedback from interested parties and the wider community.I am proposing that we hold a live online demo to show people how it works and answer any questions - if you are interested in attending please respond/like this post by the end of this week Friday 31st, leaving the best email address to contact you. I will then arrange the meeting for shortly afterwards.
If you need any further background about the project please see the Confluence and JIRA spaces.
And feel free to message me here or on Slack if you have any questions.
Thankyou
DJ
