I’m building common HTML sections, such as footer, I want to use them in my content as follows:
But CKEditor is once more stripping off html code…
I’ve tried , same result…
This would save a lot of time and duplicate code, plus make it all look consistent…
Is there a switch to control/disable CKEditor functionality? If not, any plans on options in future releases?

I’m not sure about the CK editor future, but I’d suggest to build a custom theme. It could solve your footer problem.
