Also I have also created a custom base plugin but I don’t understand how I can customize it, is there any documentation for this?

Hi, I think this should go under development category.
I would suggest you look into mautic core to see how existing widgets were implemented. Check what widgets are available in mautic at the moment and then look around in mautic core where exactly this widget is implemented.
It would also be nice if you could provide any code samples that you came up with so far.
