if that happens to bad merge data with the contact, is there a way to split the data again? I’d hate to have them delete all

There is no way to split the merged contacts that I know of.

So bad data merge contacts (occurring) are lost forever? So far, no solution or an alternative method to solve it?

We can only make sure it won’t happen again so if you know what is causing the problematic merge, how can developers replicate it, then they will be able to fix it.

I understand it perfectly, but unfortunately get into contact current (related to this problem), and thus can not determine what was the cause of a connection error
