I found few days ago your project and I am in love with it! I would like to help you out since I’ve seen that the italian translation is at a good point but there’s no one that’s reviewing the strings. I am used to translate and work with them because I have been helping WordPress developer and I would like to help you out as well.
I’ve seen there is Giuseppe Pignataro as the manager of the project but I do not know if is it better to send him a message or not. I you would like I could be an editor for your project in order to ship the italian translation as soon as possibile.

Hi @dbhurley and thank you for the quick answer! My username is Andrea_Barghigiani and you can see me also from the recent log of the italian translation 
Anyway just a quick answer to test the translation on my environment, the Italian strings are not downloaded if no one have reviewd them, is that right?
