Email sent_count too low

Your software
My Mautic version is: 4.2.2
My PHP version is: 7.4.3
My Database type and version is: mysql 8.0.29

Your problem
My problem is: When sending a broadcast email to a segment of 204222 contacts, Mautic does not seem to count the number of emails sent correctly. In the report and database (email table, sent_count column) it says only 121832 emails were sent. However, the graph says that 204385 emails were sent, which matches with the number of entries for that email in the email_stats table and is also what Amazon SES shows.

Has anyone experienced this before and/or has a solution for it?

I too am experiencing this same issue on v4.4.5 using Amazon SES as well. I will investigate further and report what I find.
