How to Manually Install Mautic 6.0.2 Update Zip

Hello,

I originally downloaded the Mautic 6.0.0 zip from the Mautic GitHub release page and successfully installed it manually without using composer.

Mautic 6.0.2 update has recently been released and I wish to upgrade our install. There is a 6.0.2 update zip on github but how do you manually install it on a production system ? The Mautic document relating to upgrades does not mention this type of upgrade method. Again I plan not to use composer.

Has anyone else successfully installed the 6.0.2.zip upgrade manually and what procedure did you use ?

Thanks.

Hello,

According to github release notes, update 6.0.2 is a security release and it advises to update at the earliest convenience.

I am therefore reaching out to the Mautic developers for the procedure to manually install 6.0.2-update.zip without the use of composer.

The update was published in this format, I just need to know how to install it to update my production site as soon as possible.

I would appreciate the help of the developers as the procedure does not appear to be documented.

Thanks.

@andrew_c3 Firstly just to confirm did you took backup?

How to update Mautic — Mautic Documentation 0.1 documentation

Hello,

Last week I attempted to install the update via the non-composer install method as defined in the document you referred too and continued with the troubleshooting steps. However that process failed see the separate post below:

Thanks

@andrew_c3 If you can’t figure out the issues, would suggest hiring professional to roll out.

Hello deepvyas,

Thanks for your suggestion I will certainly consider it.

However I have a slightly different view. If the documentation was correct with regards to upgrading and the troubleshooting steps it refers too worked, then upgrading would be a trivial task and I would not need a professional.

Thanks.
