Basically a repeat from this unanswered thread Random Cookies in Mautic
Mautic is setting various cookies like mtc_id, but also two that have unpredictable names:
a) cookie name =
b) cookie name = some long hash that is persistent for the Mautic instance
-> Those cannot be handled by consent tools such as CookieBot.
Questions:
- Can the behaviour be changed?
- Are those cookies necessary / what will break if they are blocked?
- What is the general background to begin with?
Can’t find any hints in the forums etc., nor in the source code.
