Segment Based on Hour/Minutes

I am trying to create a segment based on a date/time custom field where the filter is based on either a number of minutes or hours, I have tried using >= -15 minutes and >= 1 hour, but neither of them seem to be working.

Has anyone tried this or maybe knows of a different syntax?

Ive never had any luck with date/time fields. I ended up tagging the contacts with a tag and using the tag presence to build the segment. Id love to hear the solution as well.
