Updating a date/time contact custom field through a campaign

Your problem
My goal is: I want to set a timestamp through a campaign into a custom date/time field.

I put in a “now” into the action “Update contact” (see screenshot 1) but in the moment i press “update” and the modal closes, the now is transformed into the actual time. Everytime i reopen the action i see the date/time of the creation and not a “now”.

And yes: this (creation) timestamp is in every contact.

Am I on the wrong way to my goal?

This seems like the “Mautic” way to do this. That said it would be a feature request at this point.

I can’t think of any other way to do it, and I have the same need. I may try to get the development done and pushed to the project.

At the moment there is no “built-in” solution. It should go into a feature request. Right now, “my” problem is: status: solved.
