Calendar Showing Events Without Permissions

I have situation where a user 1 can see user 2’s actions (like sent an email) on their calendar. With how the permissions are configured through Roles, the user 1 can’t see user 2’s action when clicked on (403 Forbidden Error displayed). Would there be a quick fix to filter out only events that are specific to a user or those that the user has permission to view?
