Interesting that this works in the editor. Please tell us what happened when you tried it? 
I assume you use campaign source form and segment in one, right? Do a simple test and you will see. It’s not an often-used feature and it was designed years ago to assume use of more sources for a campaign.
I think it processes contacts received from form and segment too.
