"Checked Out" campaigns - Intentional Delay?

Hi all,
Sometimes someone at my organisation will try to open a Campaign/Email/etc and be told that it is “Checked out” by someone else.

I’ve noticed that this can happen even when Person B is no longer logged in or active.

I can’t work out if:

  1. Clicking “Save and Close” doesn’t remove the Checked Out block
  2. Timing out doesn’t remove the Checked Out block

Any ideas if this is intentional and/or a bug?

I’m seeing the same thing with my setup
Mautic 5.2.2
PHP Version 8.3.14
MySQL 8.0.36-0ubuntu0.22.04.1

I’m assuming this is happening if the user never logs out, and what I’m seeing is that returning even days later to the same browser window isn’t asking for a new login. So perhaps there’s a session timeout setting somewhere?
