Anyone can share experience with using SalesForce for Sales and Mautic for Marketing working together in charm and harmony? Is there any good or bad experience?

I haven’t used Salesforce Sales directly, but I have used Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, their marketing automation, segmentation, and email marketing tool - which is where the real overlap with Mautic happens.
One thing that trips people up is that Salesforce isn’t one tool, it’s a whole ecosystem of sub-products, each with its own pricing (almost like add-ons). So the question of “Salesforce vs Mautic” really depends on which Salesforce product you’re comparing.
