Hey all,

Is there currently a functionality to force mautic to only send emails in plain text?

Currently seen a video with a developer for an email service provider, and he mentioned that if an email has any HTML, email service providers will send them to spam. This is concerning cold emails.

Another guy said his replies went through the roof when he started sending cold emails as plain text.

So I just wanted to test this out, also perhaps someone will know more about this.

I’ll second this request. There is still a bug in Mautic as of 5.2.7 that doesn’t allow for sending of pure plain text emails. Even after deleting all of the code in the html box, Mautic attempts to fill it back in and sends gibberish to receivers instead of the plain text.

Mautic needs an option/template to force a plain text email, it would increase deliverability dramatically.
