Mautic 5.0.4 Contact Dashboard missing something

Your problem
My problem is:

Hi - I am a Mautic newbie and trying to learn it while using it. I was originally struck with the primitiveness of the Contact Dashboard but then I came across the below. May be my installation is lacking something.

Mautic manual displays the following features for the Contacts Dashboard:

The one I have has the following picture:

I cannot sort with table headers and I don’t have the DNC filters available.

Would this be fixable with a stroke of config file change?

I don’t have that menu either but it somewhat works in the search option.

With a click question mark in the search bar, you will get the search commands that include filtering/searching by tags, segments, etc.

About sorting with the column headers, well, its A->Z and Z->A only

In the search options, I could not figure out how to filter DNC (So Not Send) contacts. Surely, there is a way to do it.

Also, I cannot seem to get segment:{alias} filter working. It insists in returning nothing.
