Hi everyone,
We require your assistance. The table column (Date created) does not import the lead’s registration dates into the dynamic email message with the {contactfield=Date created}.
Can you recommend a solution?

Hi joeyk,

No change:

Looks like a bug?

Could you check if this custom field is set “date” or “datetime”?

This won’t work:
{contactfield=Date created}

You need to use the “alias” column for personalization.

Hi joeyk,

The {contactfield=alias}, and {contactfield=dtRegDate} produced the same null results?

When I say “alias” - I mean the alias field of a custom field.
For example: First Name = {contactfield=firstname}
You can see this in your Contact Fields list under the Gear icon, column “alias”

There is no alias field as part of Mautic’s contact fields in the pull-down menu selection. Is this the correct dynamic syntax: {contactfield=dtRegDate}. Please check out the following YouTube video link, https://youtu.be/IGY_qF--cLE

Hi @team,
Joey was hinting that every Contact Field has a Name and an alias. For the personalization you need to use the field-alias, not the field name.

You can find all every alias under “Settings” → “Custom Fields”:

Thank you very much!

Hi, Leon & Joey,

There is no change with the field-alias.

Try this:

"Wow, it seems, that {contactfield=dtregdate} is showing now, Mautic is the best!

Hi Everyone,

I’ve created another YouTube video demonstrating how to insert a date field using the dynamic syntax: {contactfield=dtRegDate}.

I would appreciate it if someone could review my video and let me know if there might be a “Mautic Bug” related to posting a date from a data field table.

Here is the URL link to the HTML code:

The URL link is here.

Please also take a look at the attached screenshot image (i.e., on {contactfield=dtRegDate} ):

Hello,

Couple of things…

image

  • There is no sound in this video
  • I don’t think this is your alias
  • It’s not clear how you export your CSV
  • Not obvious for me how if import really happened.

I’d like to take a look and post here my findings.

I PMd you.

Hi Joey,

Can we schedule a remote MS Teams session?

Share your email address (private chat) and preferred day and time.

Thanks,
Hal

Sure.
Plz note I also need access to the server most likely.
