If we have self-hosted Mautic v7.1.1, do we need HTTPS cert in order to Mautic work successfully?

technically not - I’ve got Mautic in a demo environment without SSL encryption installed.
But I’d not do so on a live / online environment.
The fact alone that browsers show users that the page is “insecure” and will continue to make HTTP only request more difficult / warn users actively, is clearly a sign for the trend there.
So in general the target it quite clear and easy: No domain on earth without SSL encryption anymore.
