Mautic-Typo3 Connector

Hello,

we have a Mautic customer who is running a website with Typo3 CMS and the customer wants to connect the website to Mautic. But the Typo3 version they are running is 6.2.5, because of some Typo3 externsions in use. The Mautic-Typo3 connector https://www.mautic.org/integrations/typo3/ requires – according to the README – at least Typo3 version 8.7.

Is there any version of the Mautic-Typo3 connector available that supports Typo3 v 6.2.5?

Alternatively, is there any way to interconnect Mautic and the website without using a plugin?

Regarding website visitor tracking we could probably use the old-fashioned tracking pixel placement?

But our customer would also like to use Mautic forms with their website, e.g. for newsletter subscriptions etc. . Can such forms be embedded into a website without using a connector?

Thanks in advance and kind regards,

Thomas

Of course you can use Mautic without that plugin! It’s quite easy to use and the plugin won’t enable too much bonus stuff. You’ll simply need to add the Mautic JS code to the Typo3 theme you’re using (better than the pixel):

Then you’ll just use the embed code from the forms within Mautic on the pages where you want the forms to appear. It’s very straightforward. The docs: will have plenty of info on how to set things up.
